Up until last week, Sal didn't seem particularly perturbed when another kid would take something from her. We recently started helping in the nursery at church, and now she seems to have figured out the concept of possession. A couple days ago I found her screaming at her reflection in the mirror in our closet. Her baby doll had gotten stuck between the mirror and her crib (yes, she sleeps in the closet) and she thought that her reflection was holding onto the doll and wouldn't give it back. I unstuck the doll and gave it back to Sal and she proceeded to hold the doll away from the mirror while making mean faces at her reflection. I guess we need to learn how to share.

That is so funny. What a sad day when we learn to be selfish. It takes the rest of eternity to unlearn it! Sal will be the only one in your family who didn't learn it from day 1. I hope you enjoyed it.
