Well, I can't believe it. He came early and quickly. I'll have Scott tell the whole birth story, but my water broke at 2 AM this morning, contractions started at about 2:30 or 3, we left for the hospital at 3:30ish, checked into our labor and delivery room at 4 and little baby Homer was born at 4:55. The whole thing went great and I'm feeling great, but tired out. We're still debating about a name... he doesn't look like either one of us or anything like Sal when she was a baby, so that's kind of throwing us off. His face is pretty bruised up and puffy, but he's got a full head of black hair. He's very sweet (even for a boy.) I can't wait for Sal to meet him.
Let me just say, I am so glad not to be pregnant or in labor anymore. It's awesome.
