Quick post, no pictures

I'm going to blame my lack of posts on my miserable camera. Stupid camera.

Anyway,

I think Milo might have said his first word in the bathtub last week. He said "guck" several times while splashing the rubber duckies wildly in the water. (I'm really hoping he was saying "duck," and not "yuck" about the cleanliness of the bathroom.) He hasn't said it again, so maybe he was just clearing his throat. We'll see.

Sal announced to me that she is going to be a readist, a writist and a violinist when she gets bigger. I hope her lack of ability to carry a tune doesn't get in the way of that last one. She may need to change that to drumist if we can't remedy the problem soon. No offense, Scott... or Sal.

Scott submitted his match list 4 minutes before the deadline, the deadline that if you miss, you don't match for residency for the following year. It was very exciting. Our hemming and hawing went on and on all week and right up through Wednesday evening (the deadline.) Scott's dive for the computer at the last minute to change the order of his list was seriously something out of MacGyver. I was sure Scott's computer would freeze up on him at the last second. It's killing me that we don't find out until March 17 where we'll be for the next 4 years. I have a strong premonition that large amounts of snow and ice are in my future. Anyone know where I can obtain a parka?

My latest light reading is How To Behave So Your Preschooler Will, Too.

Also, my left arm is getting very buff from carrying around Milo-The Bowling Ball-Homer. Wanna arm wrestle?

Ha ha ha! I love it: Sal the tone-deaf (I don't think she is--but maybe I am too) writer, Milo the bowling ball, Scott as MacGyver, and Kate the wrestler. We love the Homers. :D

So what were the top 4 places?

Thanks for the book recommendation. That is EXACTLY what I need right now.
