A light went on in my head: Here was a way she could practice her cognitive skills while doing an active workout, all in the bleak heart of winter. Here she is performing "ABCs:"
She's also absorbing the music she hears at church. Today she finally got hold of a hymnal toward the end of a hymn, and when it stopped she had really come into her own, belting out, "Going to God, going to God!" (again and again.) She must have meant "Glory to God" even though Christmas is long past, but to me it sounded like she was composing Christian rock. Here she is getting the true primary spirit of "Jesus wants me for a sunbeam," which lies almost entirely in how much emphasis you place on the "beam."
It didn't take her long to realize that the jumping (and the singing) could be greatly facilitated by her new present:
Thanks everybody for the fantastic presents, including the coffee maker. She's really getting the hang of it. And for this great hoodie towel:

she is so smart. and that bottom picture is so cute.
we have a pretty good play kingdom but sal is advancing toward her own at a quicker pace than chloe did. she's a lucky girl.
i need to take more video of my kids. that is really cute.
How unfair is it that when we finally get some cousins they all live on the other side of the continent??? We all adore Sal & it's not hard to see why- we've watched the videos over and over just trying to absorb her cuteness the best we can from way over here. Thanks for the pics in the towel. I'm glad she likes it! Much love to all.
