October

Well, I finally have the occasional use of the computer... Scott studied non-stop for boards all through the month of October. We're all relieved that it's over. It was Scott's birthday at the beginning of the month... 32 years-old.


I went to Maine for a week and a half to help Val get ready for her wedding. It was stressful, but it turned out really nicely. Here are a couple of the pictures we managed to remember to take:

We set up tables for 75 people in the living room and basement... crowded, but it ended up looking great.
The caterer made these bread wreathes for each setting, they looked beautiful.

The hair disaster- Val and I had our hair done and both looked like we were trying to be prom queens. I wish I had a before picture of Valerie's, but we washed it out and re-did it the best we could. I thought it turned out pretty well.

The guests sat on quilts on the front lawn.

And even though it was supposed to snow and rain, the sun came out just before Val walked down the steps to be married.

At the end of October, Scott took his boards and then started his internal medicine/surgery rotation, so things are still a little crazy, but good. Our most recent pictures won't load onto the computer, I think it's out of space. I'll have Scott work on that when he gets a minute.
