Sal asked Kate if she could have a tortilla tonight. "Sure," Kate said.
"Yay!" exclaimed Sal. "Let's clap our hands and shout for joy! (Long pause.) And climb upon his knee."
When we brush Sal's teeth, we find animals in her mouth and make their sounds. Today I found a parrot and said "Polly want a cracker?" "Sure," Sal replied.
Tonight I tested Sal by asking her where the banjo was. "On my knee," she answered.
She passed.
